In this video of an event at the University of California Riverside Center for Sustainable Suburban Development the folks putting on the event admit the birth rate in the U.S. has been cut in half since the 1950’s. Still they insist there is a huge need for an increase in affordable housing. Yet several moments later in the video they admit this need for affordable housing must be “created”. While they do not acknowledge who the people will be who will create this need, they admit, whoever these folks are, it is really important that they get to the voting booth.
