Christmas is a joyous but busier than usual time of year. In the spirit of the season this newsletter has fewer articles and contains only joyous news. Enjoy!

EPA’s Scott Pruitt drains the swamp like no one else in Washington

Remember that while the 1992 treaty Agenda for the 21st Century was never ratified by the Senate, its principles of economic, environmental, and social justice were embedded into every federal agency through the efforts of the Clinton administration. The result was rogue agencies where the bureaucrats in these agencies became unanswerable to the People. These agencies instead were mandated to do whatever was necessary to transform America into a socialist country un-tethered from its founding values and principles. This required the agencies to ignore the facts and to find “experts” who, after being bribed with federal grants, would reach consensus to whatever statements advanced social, economic, and/or environmental justice goals.

Imagine the fear felt by those in the EPA when Scott Pruitt, with a clear goal to reform the EPA by requiring it to use facts and the scientific method instead of consensus, became head of the EPA. To read more about the EPA’s painful journey towards reform, click on this link.

US quits UN global compact on migration, says it’ll set its own policy

Rex Tillerson, head of the State Department under President Trump, is smart enough to recognize a bloated, inefficient department and determined enough to attempt to make the changes necessary to improve its functionality. The hoped for result will be a State Department better able to protect America from threats from within and without. Threats such as those posed by immigration: especially immigration by those who are illegal, are unwilling to assimilate, and/or are deficient in needed skill sets. These immigrants pose a clear threat to the safety, financial well-being, and/or sovereignty of America.

The effort to globalize America and redistribute her wealth by flooding her with immigrants has been spear-headed by the United Nations. It is truly heartening to have Rex Tillerson inform the United Nations America, not the United Nations, is in charge of its immigration policies. To read more, click on this link.

In a Win for Trump, Supreme Court Upholds ‘Extreme Vetting’ Travel Ban

Concurrent with Rex Tillerson’s decision to unhitch American immigration policies from that of the United Nations, the Trump Administration received an important immigration policy decision from the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court has granted temporary support for the Trump “extreme vetting” travel ban which limits travel from countries presenting heightened risks of terrorism. As we wait for a final Supreme Court decision on this matter, we can be encouraged by the number of justices who supported the temporary travel ban.

Also of interest in this article are the common sense statements made by John Malcolm, head of the Institute for Constitutional Government at The Heritage Foundation. After reading these statements one has to wonder how any judge-even a Leftist judge-could have possibly opposed his ban in the first place-and still look his children in the eyes. Trump shrinks Bears Ears, Grand Staircase-Escalante monument in historic proclamation.

Much of the land in the Western United States is held under the control of the federal government. If land has been claimed by the federal government through the use of the Antiquities Act, the land is to all and extents and purposes off limits to man. This means mineral resources, recreational resources, etc. will be of no use to this or future generations. In turn this diminishes our freedoms and our economic prosperity.

Some not so informed citizens believe the loss to our freedom and prosperity is worth it if it protects the land. The reality is quite the opposite. As the federal government took on the responsibility of managing more and more land, the federal government became less and less able to manage the undergrowth and deadfalls in the forests. Fires, whether caused by nature or arson, once started spread faster and were more likely to spread over a greater area causing a greater loss of human and wildlife and a greater loss of valuable natural resources. How is this a good thing for Bambi and her friends?
(Note: It is a good thing if you are trying to advance the Wildlands Project. See Lesson 3 at www.agenda21course.com for more info.)

This explains why the Executive Order by Donald Trump is so important. These two national parks still stay under the ownership of the federal government but allow the state and local governments more say in their management and a greater use of their resources. Those geographically closer to these parks are much more likely to invest the time and energy necessary to wisely use and maintain them. To learn more, click on this link.

Summary: In this Christmas season we have much for which to be grateful. Not the least of which is the strong leadership at the EPA and the State Department where the effort is being made to create leaner, fact driven departments determined to put America first by promoting economic activity and individual freedom while protecting her from unwise environmental and immigration policies.

If you find this newsletter of value, please consider forwarding it to others or direct them to the upper left side of the site, www.agenda21course.com, where the monthly newsletters are archived. Thank you.

Finally, please do not forget the reason for the season; the birth of Jesus Christ. As we celebrate the season with our family and friends, please continue to pray for a bright, free future for our country.

May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Bless New Year in 2018.

Respectfully submitted, Eileen
