Lots of Good News
The Progressives (on both sides of the aisle) have been working to destroy America for well over 100 years. They have been relentless and all too often brilliant in their efforts. Many of America’s foundational principles and institutions; the Constitution, Christianity, quality public education, law and order, property rights, faith in the press and our own government, have been greatly compromised.
The question I believe we have all asked ourselves, is can America be restored? This 50th consecutive Agenda21course.com newsletter cannot answer this question with certainty, but it can happily provide some very positive reading which seems to indicate that perhaps at last we might be heading in that direction.

Trump’s one-two punch hits birth control, LGBT rights
On October 6, 2017 the department of Human Services, Labor, and Treasury released two final rules dealing with the objections arising from the Obama Care mandate to force companies to provide contraceptive services. The “religious rule” provides relief for those companies, both large and small, who hold a strong religious belief in the sanctity of life. The “moral” rule can allow a company to require adherence to a specific moral code as a requirement for employment. Both of these rules will send the message the Trump administration respects and values Christian values. To read more click on this link.

Case Summary of Bormuth vs. County of Jackson (Michigan)
Anyone who knows American history knows the Founders deliberately integrated Christian prayer into all aspects of government and education. Unfortunately a series of court cases over time have distorted the Establishment Clause, which was designed to prevent our government from establishing a church, in such a way as to use the Establishment Clause to restrict inclusion of prayer within government meetings.
Good News. A recent court case in the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bormuth vs. County of Jackson, now allows the use of prayer in legislative meetings. While this ruling is likely to be challenged, and possibly end up in front of the Supreme Court, please tell your local public officials about this ruling and ask them to research its application to their situation. Please emphasize to them the importance of again integrating prayer back into our government. To learn more, click on this link.
Supreme Court will hear challenge to public union fees
The Supreme Court is poised to make two rulings, which once decided, will have a large impact on the unions and their members. One will decide if non-members of public employee unions must pay their “fair share” fees to help pay for collective bargaining and other benefits. The second ruling will decide whether millions of employees, who sign individual arbitration agreements, can band together for the purpose of arbitration.
Whether you decide if the acceptance by the Supreme Court of these two cases is good news or not, may depend on whether you belong to a union or not and whether you think unions, as they function today as an arm of the Democrat Party, are good for America. To learn more, click on this link.
President Trump Signs An Executive Order To Promote Healthcare Choice And Competition
Everyone knows President Trump lacks support, not just from the Democrats, the media, Hollywood, etc. but also from his own party, with the outcome being few significant legislative successes in 2017. This leaves Trump with only executive orders available to reform important problems like Obama Care. While executive orders are in most cases less desirable than Congressional action, millions of Americans cannot wait for Congress to act. Their health care choices in many cases are nonexistent, and even if health care is available, the premiums and deductibles are so high it makes the use of their health care policies unrealistic.
This executive order allows millions of Americans a way to access health care going forward. As time passes with help from disgusted Americans the establishment swamp creatures can be voted out of office allowing non-swamp creatures (God willing) to finally repeal the not-so-affordable Affordable Health Care Act. Ohio School Board Votes to Continue Testing Government and History
In the last Agenda21course.com newsletter I asked you, who live in Ohio to contact the members of the (Ohio) State School Board to demand they continue to require end-of-course testing in American History and Government. Without these tests there can be no doubt that the quantity and quality of teaching in this critical area would do a freefall.
I am thrilled to say your efforts were not in vain! Your calls and emails to the State Board of Education [Ohio] came through loud and clear. The State School Board WITHDREW the eliminate American Government end-of-course testing’ proposal from their agenda that day.
Now for the bad news. In November of this year, 2017, this same proposal will come up again because the Progressives never quit. We, the conservatives won that battle, but the war against liberalism continues. Stay tuned. I will do my best to let you know when this second battle again commences. In Summary
We must not be complacent as we read about the successes being created primarily through the herculean efforts of Donald Trump and his administration. We can be hopeful, but above all we much engage. The momentum is heading us Right, but we have a long way to go. Let your federal reps know if they are doing a good job or not, but do not forget to keep your eye on things happening locally. The saying goes, ‘All politics are local.” Monitor you local government, your school system, even your church. Speak up when needed. Be sure, if able, to throw money at any one who is fighting the good fight-especially those on a federal level who are willing to primary any of D.C.’s swamp creatures. If we engage effectively, God willing, we can help President Trump and his administration pull this country back from the brink.
