There are many opinions on the Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his battle with the federal government. Some folks think that regardless of whether Bundy thinks he should or should not pay the feds his fees, if he doesn’t, then he is a free loader, or that because his speech is not PC enough, we should ostracize him completely and negate his property concerns. Others, who feel that the federal government has no business owning massive amounts of what should be state owned lands, are just grateful that FINALLY someone has brought attention to the loss of state sovereignty, property rights infringement, and the heavy hand (can you say thugocracy?) of the feds. All that said, I highly recommend that you read the explanation of Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 of the Constitution known as the Enclave clause which authorizes Congress to purchase, own and control land in a state only under a specific set of limited circumstances by clicking on this link.

Supreme Court ruling in land dispute could threaten bike trails
Good news, the Supreme Court got one right. The Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that government easements used for railroad beds over public and private land in the West expired once the railroads went out of business, and the land must revert to its owners. That means that bike paths pushers cannot just assume that they can build bike paths along existing abandoned “federally granted” railways. They will need to purchase this land from the rightful owners.
However, even good news causes ripples. This ruling will no doubt cause a series of dominoes to fall. There will be more use of eminent domain, which in turn will cause more lawsuits, which in turn will cause the cost/mile for building a bike path to increase. The hope would be that all of this turmoil will convince the American people that, in most cases, bike paths are not feasible. If the American people figure that out, the federal government will have lost a key tool, bike paths, in their Agenda 21 toolkit. To learn more, click on this link.
PS: From the author’s research, it appears most of the federally granted railroads exist west of the Mississippi, while few if any exist in the original 13 colonies. Determining the status of abandoned railroads in the states in between will require careful research.

Effort to Further Bike Paths in Newark, Ohio Likely Faulty
The Licking County Planning Commission headquartered about 45 minutes east of Columbus, Ohio in the city of Newark is coordinating efforts to build bike paths in Licking County. While the attempt by LCPC is supposedly to just make sure the various political entities in Licking County that wish to build bike paths coordinate their plans in such a way as to create paths that connect with each other and are safe, the effort also makes it more likely that the political entities feel that building bike paths is a good idea.
There is a survey that is available to allow citizens to input to the process. Unfortunately, the survey is set up, intentionally or unintentionally, to get back results that will support the bike path. Here are some of the writer’s concerns about the survey. Continue reading

Good news for Northeastern Ohio!
Good news for Northeastern Ohio!
Our Lorain County Township Trustees stood with us, the People tonight (March 20th, 2014). At the monthly meeting of their organization, LCTA, a vote was brought to the floor about supporting the NEOSCC Vibrant 2040 regional plan. After much discussion including input from Trustee Lynch and Trustee Leimbach, the LCTA members voted unanimously AGAINST the Vibrant 2040 Plan.
Lynch and Leimbach both had attended the presentation titled, “Public Concerns about NEOSCC Vibrant 2040 Plan”. This presentation was made on January 28, 2014, at the Amherst Township Trustee meeting by Dr. Beverly Goldstein and Kirsten Hill. Leimbach was the lone local elected official who also attended the Citizens’ forum vs. Regionalism in Independence last summer/fall.
Trustee Heidegger is the representative who will carry this NO vote message back to NEOSCC board meeting in Akron on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
This is a tiny step in the right direction pushing back against the $4.25 million sustainable development push in Northeastern Ohio. Next quest: Can this Vibrant 2040 plan be stopped on Tuesday February 25th, 2014 at the NEOSCC (an NGO) board meeting when representatives from all 12 NEO counties come together to vote?

Good News: Kentucky legislature is forwarding legislation (SB31/14RS) against Agenda 21
Please forward this on to anyone who you might know that lives in Kentucky. Ask them to contact their state legislators to encourage their legislators to support this bill. It may even be a good idea, regardless in which state you live, to forward this to your state legislators so that they can see that that Agenda 21/sustainable development is being addressed elsewhere. To see legislation click on this link.

Space and Science Research Corp. Launch Global Cooling Awareness Project
This website will provide invaluable unbiased information on climate change. The Space and Science Research Corporation does agree that the climate is changing but states that Earth, instead of warming, is likely to experience decades of global cooling. While this falls under the category of Climate Change, it totally takes carbon dioxide out of the argument. If the climate is cooling, then the whole carbon dioxide causes global warming argument is a false argument. To learn more click on this link.

Obama Climate Hub Plan Will Help Destroy Small American Farms and Ranches
Even though there is much evidence to prove that Global Warming is a hoax, and that climate change is a natural occurrence of nature, which means that it is next to impossible to know if man plays a role in climate change, Obama and his leftists continue full speed ahead by creating Climate Change hubs all across America.
This article does a very nice job of explaining the true purpose of the Obama Climate Change Hubs as simply “another power grab by the federal government to exercise control over farmers and ranchers”. The likely outcome is to put the small farmer out of business leaving the track clear for the large corporations who deal in food production. Remember it is much easier for the government to take control over a few large corporations than millions of small family farms. To learn more follow this link.
One more point. This article provides a map of the locations of the Climate Change Hubs. Might these hubs simply be the first evidence that the regionalization of America has begun in earnest?

With debt limit raised, Obama launches $1 billion ‘climate resilience’ fund
This latest Obama $1 billion slush fund, which purports to provide money to mitigate the effects of Climate Change, is just another opportunity to waste tax payers dollars and reward Obama’s “green” cronies, who will in turn support the President and his party-all in the name of saving the environment. Oh, goodie! To learn more click on this link.

EPA Water Police Coming to Your Farm, Business — and Back Yard
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is attempting to expand the powers of the Clean Water Act in order to gain total control over all of the water in the United States (aka nationalization of the water supply). The EPA’s Connectivity report connects virtually all water in the United States in a way to give the EPA control over it. However, the EPA’s Connectivity report has not received public scrutiny nor has the EPA allowed the Science Advisory Board to complete its review of the report. Regardless the EPA, acting much like the scientific community did with Global Warming, just continues to barrel forward as if there are no challenges to the facts or to the process.
